Description
The Osmosis Solenoid Valve is an electro-mechanical valve designed to automatically control water flow in Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification systems. It operates by using an electrical signal to open or close the water passage, allowing the RO system to control the incoming water supply automatically.
RO solenoid valves are commonly used as normally closed (NC) valves, where the water passage remains closed when the solenoid is not energized and opens when the appropriate voltage is applied. This makes them suitable for automatic water-flow control in compatible RO purification and filtration systems.
The valve can be used as a replacement component in suitable domestic RO systems and other compatible water-control applications.

- Commercial water filtration systems
- RO replacement and repair
- Automatic water-flow control
- Water purification projects
- DIY water-control systems
- Aquarium RO systems
- Compatible water-treatment equipment
Compatibility / Usage
The valve is intended for use with compatible RO water purification and filtration systems.
Before installation, check:
- Required coil voltage
- Water pipe/tube size
- Valve flow direction
- Operating pressure
- Physical mounting arrangement
- Electrical connector/wiring
- Compatibility with the existing RO controller
For example, some RO solenoid valves use 24V DC and 1/4-inch connections, but these specifications are model-dependent and should not be assumed for every valve.
Important Note
Please verify the exact specifications of your valve before purchase or installation. RO solenoid valves are available in different voltage, port-size, pressure, and construction variants. Do not connect the valve to a power supply unless its rated voltage has been confirmed.
The valve should be installed according to the correct water-flow direction and electrical requirements. Properly seal all water connections to prevent leakage.
