Important Note
The DS1307 is designed for a 5V supply and uses I2C communication. When connecting it to 3.3V microcontrollers such as ESP32, check the module’s power arrangement and I2C pull-up voltage to avoid exposing the controller pins to 5V.
The backup battery type and holder can vary by module. Confirm the supplied battery specification and polarity before installation.
