Description
ADXL345 Triple-Axis Accelerometer Sensor Module
The ADXL345 Triple-Axis Accelerometer Sensor Module is a compact, low-power digital sensor designed to measure acceleration along three axes: X, Y, and Z. It can detect static gravity as well as dynamic acceleration, making it suitable for motion sensing, tilt detection, vibration monitoring, and orientation measurement.
Based on the ADXL345 accelerometer, this module provides digital measurement data through I2C or SPI communication interfaces. It can be connected to compatible development boards such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers.
Its small size and low power consumption make it ideal for robotics, wearable electronics, motion-controlled systems, and embedded applications.

Important Notes
- The ADXL345 measures acceleration, not rotational angular velocity. Use a gyroscope when angular-rate measurement is required.
- Verify the module’s voltage compatibility before connecting it to a microcontroller.
- The sensor IC uses 3.3V-compatible logic; do not assume every breakout board supports direct 5V connections.
- Select the appropriate I2C or SPI communication mode in your code.
- The I2C address depends on the SDO/ALT ADDRESS pin configuration.
- Module pin labels and onboard components may vary between manufacturers.
